- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆We dropped into the Duke for a bite to eat the other night. As it was, the restaurant was virtually full to capacity but by the time i had downed my first Asahi, a table became available. The kitchen is very well staffed for the busy periods which allows for a greater turnover of patrons. 10 out of 10 for the management. The food, although we chose typical 'pub food' was restaurant quality and also served in a reasonable time. I couldn't get over the 'in house', during the week, specials. One could actually enjoy a great meal for probably less than it would cost you to cook at home, no wonder the place was packed....
